It was not known if Dr. Rajendra Kapila was vaccinated prior to visiting India.

The newspaper quoted Dr Saxena-Kapila as saying they had both been fully vaccinated with two Pfizer-BioNTech shots, though this was not immediately confirmed by Kapila’s university.

うっているかどうかは、まだ、確認されていない、という記事もある。
ワクチンも完璧でないので射っていたとしても死亡することはありえるわけだが、なんとなく暗いニュースだねえ。インド変異種にはそれほど効果的ではない、ということもありえるしねえ。
