In fact, when complexion was mentioned by an early Western traveler or missionary or ambassador (and it very often wasn’t, because skin color as a racial marker was not fully in place until the 19th century), East Asians were almost always called white, particularly during the period of first modern contact in the 16th century.

And on a number of occasions, even more revealingly, the people were termed “as white as we are.”

But by the 17th century, the Chinese and Japanese were “darkening” in published texts, gradually losing their erstwhile whiteness when it became clear they would remain unwilling to participate in European systems of trade, religion, and international relations.

Calling them white, in other words, was not based on simple perception either and had less to do with pigmentation than their presumed levels of civilization, culture, literacy, and obedience (particularly if they should become Christianized).

The term “yellow” occasionally began to appear towards the end of the 18th century and then really took hold of the Western imagination in the 19th.

女性を自認するフルチンの人が女湯に入ってきたら






おもしろい問題提起で、ウィキ*1によると、フェミの第２波やイギリスメディアで見られる議論らしい。

以前は、男は男、女は女で、はっきりわかれていたし、わかれるべきだと思う人たちがいる一方、たとえば、男らしい男を左端におくとすると、右端に女らしい女がいて、中間には、女っぽい男や男っぽい女がいたり、中央には男でも女でもない、あるいは、男でも女でもあるような人たちいて、それでいいのだ、という人たちがいる。

また惹かれる性についても、異性が好きでなければならない、という人たちがいる一方、性的には、異性に惹かれる、同性に惹かれる、両方に惹かれる、どっちにも惹かれないという人たちがいて、それはそれでいいのだ、という人たちがいる。

トランス女性の人たちは、女性らしい女性がしっくりくる人が多いのかもしれないが、男っぽい女性がしっくりくる人がいてもいいわけで、男っぽい女性がいてもいい、というレズビアンの人たちの主張と必ずしも矛盾するわけではない。

もっとも、トランス女性のなかには、男性の欲望の対象になる欲望が女性を女性とするのだ、とするひとがいる*2が、それは、女性がときたまもつかもしれない欲望であって、そうした属性をすべての女性に押し付けてはいけない。

また、判断能力の未熟な未成年に対する性転換手術は慎重であるべき＊３という人もいるがそれはそのとおりであろう。

トイレや更衣室など女性専用の空間にトランス女性を入れることは覗きや痴漢などの被害が起きかねず、危険だという人がいるが、＊４、現実にはそうした事件は起きていない*5、と。

個人的には、トイレや更衣室にトランス男子がいても全然かまわない。しかし、トランス女性がトイレや更衣室にいたら嫌だ、という女性もいるだろう。その嫌悪感が、黒人が白人専用の空間にいるのは嫌だ、という嫌悪感と同質としてあつかっていいものなのかどうか・・・・・・・ここらへんはもう少し検討してみたい。

Ｘであるならば女として生きていない、という心の属性Ｘを認めるとしましょう。対偶をとると「女であるならＸではない」。つまり「女のくせにＸだなんておかしい」――古い性表現・性役割の押し付けそのまんまの文法図式になってますが……、

女性解放というのは、女性に対する固定観念から解放がその一つの主張であり、女性がXをもっていてもいいじゃないか、という主張であるわけですから、大学側がXを発表してしまったら、女性解放としては後退になるのであります。

高校までは可愛い子ぶりっ子で大学に入ってから、女性解放に目覚めて、卒業する頃には男っぽくなっていた、ということはありえるのであります。同様に、トランス女性の人でも、キャピキャピギャルからゴツゴツの男っぽい女性になる、ということはあり得る。女である、という基準が自認しかありえず、かつ、男性的あるいは男性がしてもよいことで、女性を制限するものがあってはならないとすれば、それが帰結であります。

もっとも、「なりすまし」というのが絶対ありえないか、というと、たとえば、学校施設内では女性なのに、施設外にでると、男子トイレにはいり、他の大勢の男子と同様な言動をしていた場合、施設外ではトランスに対する差別が激しいなど、特段の事情のない限り、「なりすましている」だけ、ということはありえると思う。要するに、その「自認」は偽りの自認であって、歯が痛くないのに痛いと言っていたようなものであります。

最後に関連して面白い問題。トランス女性を社会が受け入れるなら、黒人であるほうがしっくりするトランス黒人も社会は受け入れていいのではないか？＊６　ケイトリン・ジェンナーをトランス女性として受け入れるならば、レイチェル・ドレザルさんをトランス黒人としてうけいれるべきではないか？

Mansplain で的外れ、ということも十分ありえる。当事者の話も聞いてみたいところ。

My reading of 'believes all things' is seen in this light. It means that you have an attitude of trust, and that you should give people the benefit of the doubt. It is the opposite of someone with a cynical attitude towards people and life in general.

God warns us to not believe everything. 2 Timothy 3:12-14 talks about those who are evil and will go on deceiving.


So, perhaps combining your response with those above, we get a clearer picture of one who believes the best of others in general, but is discerning enough to not be taken in by deception. – DJGray Jul 24 '14 at 18:44

とも書かれていないが・・・・

そもそも、学生服来た女子学生が痴漢にあうというわけだから、抵抗しなさそう、とか、自分が制することができそうな女性を狙ってくるのか・・・そこらへんどうなのかよくわからないが、服装は自由が原則で、かつ、着る服で人を傷つけるわけでもなく、また、着る服によって性被害が減少するものでもなさそうなので、これについてとやかくいうのは的外れだろう。

 executive director of the department’s EMP task force, is that China now has super-EMP weapons, knows how to protect itself against an EMP attack, and has developed protocols to conduct a first-strike attack, even as they deny they would ever do so.

According to the Center for Strategic International Studies, China has the most active ballistic missile development program in the world, so this is doubly troubling.

中国の武漢からも報告されていたように、症例の8割は軽症、2割が肺炎になり、その2割のうち4分の1程度の方が重症化するということ。そして、発症から1週間前後で急速に悪化することがあるということです。

そして新型インフルエンザへの対応の反省から、発熱外来へと患者が殺到する状況を作ることは、絶対に避けるべきであると考えました。もしも、医療機関へ検査を希望する人が殺到してしまったら、そこで感染拡大が起きます。

8割が軽症で済む、しかも軽症の方への治療法もない。そうした中では、とにかく重症化する人を見つけて、診断し、治療をすることが重要です。


6月9日の段階で、検疫所で発見されたのは15人。では、何人の感染者がその検疫をすり抜けて国内へと流入しているのか。帰国後14日間は自宅で待機していただくよう呼びかけていますので、そのルールを守っていただければ感染拡大は防ぐことができるかもしれません。

しかし、日本では法的な拘束力はありませんので、それもどこまで効果を持つのかはわかりません。


我々も詳細なデータにはアクセスできていませんが、感染経路が明らかでない感染者も確認はされているものの、多くは院内感染もしくは接待を伴う飲食店などハイリスクとされている場所での感染です。

黒人の男女を主役にもってきたのは画期的だが、しかし、将来は、「ディズニーの結婚至上主義、結婚が女の幸せのような描写は許せない！」とか「くせ毛でなく、なんで直毛なんだ！アフロヘアを蔑視しているのか！」とか、「なぜ、カエルのままではいけないんだ、あまりにも人間中心主義的だ！」とか言われる可能性はある。

ただ、すぐ消える脇役や悪役、固定観念的な役しか回ってこなかったマイノリティーに主役や良い奴役、固定観念的ではない役まわりをもっともっと与えるべきだとは思う。

女性の描写でおっぱいが大きとか、恥骨を強調しすぎるとか・・・・そういう評論が悪いとはいわないが、特に生産的ではない。

女の子がロールモデルにできるような有能な女性、力強い女性が描写された作品をどんどん世間に流通させていったほうがほうがよほど生産的。

女性だけではなく、ハーフ、特に色黒系ハーフとか、ゲイとか、身しょう者とか、普通にみんなと協力しあって社会に貢献しているような作品がもっともっとほしいところ。

で、いく人かの人たちの体験談。

黒人は犯罪者だとか、怖いとかの間違ったイメージが社会に蔓延しているから、黒人は白人と同じことをしても疑われて、犯人扱いされる。

黒人の家庭では、

「黒人であることを忘れちゃ駄目よ、白人の友達なら許されることでも、同じことを黒人がやったら責められるのよ」と徹底して教育されるのだ、と。
でもこれっておかしくね？　行動や態度を変えるべきなのは、白人のほうで、白人の親が子供に偏見や差別をなくすようにしつけるのがスジだろう、と。

ーーー慰安婦問題でも、日本軍がやると非難されるが、米軍がやってもお咎めなし・・・これも差別のひとつ。

それとこういう差別の構造は日本にもある。

　日本にも部落民差別/いじめやコリアン差別/いじめや女性差別/いじめやLGBT差別/いじめ・・・などなどあるわけで・・・・しかし、大抵の人は、「私は別に差別していないし・・・」ということなのかもしれないし、加害者の側にされるのは不本意であろう。

　やってもいないのに加害者にされるのは腹が立つ。

が、しかし、加害者じゃなくても、被害者のいじめられた話に耳を傾けて、なんとかしないと、という意識は大事でしょう？

で、その相手が切れて暴力振るうような人間ーー男でも女でもーーーだったら、余計にそんなことをいうべきではない。

要するに、
１）普段でも相手を不快にするので、使うべきではない言葉遣いはある。
２）相手が切れやすいとか、おとなしいかどうかわからなければなおさら。

Anger is an emotion characterized by antagonism toward someone or something you feel has deliberately done you wrong.

怒りとは、自分に不正をはたらいた誰かやなにか対する敵対意識によって特徴づけられる感情

自分になされた不正を感知して発動する感情で役にたつこともある。いや、必要なこともある。権力を振りかざして不正を働くものに対しては大いなる怒りをもつべきである。

しかし、妊婦を蹴飛ばした若者のように、自分が感知した”不正”が本当は、不正でなかったり、「キモイ」と不当に馬鹿にされたと思って、激昂してしまったり、あるいは、実にくだらない不正に対して過剰に反応してしまうこともある。

怒りを感じるのは、これはしょうがない。プッと思わず笑ってしまうように、カッと思わず怒りを覚えてしまう。

しかし、怒鳴っちゃいけないんだなああ。怒った表情するところまではいいのかもしれないが、怒鳴っちゃいけない。怒鳴るのは過剰な反応なんだなああ。

寅さんも実にくだらないことで怒り、周りはほとほと疲れる。

自分は暴力に対する衝動というのはないんだが、たまに怒鳴る衝動があって・・・あって、というよりことの成り行きで衝動を感じる前に怒鳴ってしまって後でめちゃくちゃ後悔することがあるのである。怒鳴らず、冷静に言い返すとか、そのときはいったん静かにひきさがるとか・・・もう少しうまい反応ができただろうにとずーーーと後悔するのである。ああ、なんであんなことで、怒鳴ってしまったのだろうか、子供の癇癪と同じじゃないか、ああ、なんてことを、と。

寅さん風に言うと、その後、長らく、「ただ、後悔と反省の日々を過ご」し、もう二度と怒鳴るまい、と心に誓うのだが・・・また、やってしまうのである。

「うる星やつら」のお雪のように、冷たい反応をしたいのだが駄目ーーアンガーマネージメントもへったくれもないのである。

人は怒りを感じるし、怒ることが必要なことあるが、怒鳴ってはいけない。権力者の不正に対しても怒りを感じながらも冷静に対処すべき。仮に初動の怒りが正当でも、暴力をふるったらいけないように、怒鳴ってしまっては・・・・周りはひくし、その後の議論もギクシャクしてうまくいかなくなるだけ・・・

アメリカの宿業

さっきのロイターの記事にあったけど、

Data on fatal shootings by police in the U.S. have shown that while more white people than black people are killed by police overall, black people are killed at higher rates relative to population size. Since 2015, The Washington Post has logged every fatal shooting by an on-duty police officer in the U.S. ( here ). According to The Post, “Although half of the people shot and killed by police are white, black Americans are shot at a disproportionate rate,” being “killed by police at more than twice the rate of white Americans.”



BLMが問題にしているのは、死に至らせるような警官による暴力が黒人に対して不相当に多い、ということなんですね。

ところが、数からいうと、白人は警官に黒人よりもっと倍近く殺されている。

白人も警官の横暴な暴行の被害者なわけで、だから、Stop Police brutality ってやったほうがより多くの白人の協力が得られたんじゃないか、とも思うけど。

警官にしてみれば、しかし、「ばかやろう、被疑者は、拳銃もっているかもしれんだぞっ、ビシッとやんないとおれらの命もやばい、Police lives matter　だぜ」とかなるんだろうね。

拳銃社会から抜けられない深いアメリカの業だね。

If you’re a white person in 2013, based on the FBI data, your chances of being killed by anyone are roughly 13 in a million;

if you’re a black person in 2013, your chances of being killed by anyone were 62 in a million, which is almost five times what the odds are for a white person.

If you’re a white person in 2013, Nuzzo explained, your chances of being murdered by another white person are approximately 11 in a million, and your chances of being murdered by a black person are two in a million.

Meanwhile, if you’re a black person in 2013, your chances of being murdered by another black person are 56 in a million, and your chances of being murdered by a white person are five in a million.

たぶん同じ地域の黒人同士の殺害が多いわけで、被害防止のために隔離しても意味はない。

日本ではBLMではなく、ハーフのいじめ、外人顔差別やめろ！運動すればいい。



デモの感染拡大効果についてはまだ、確定的なことはいえないが、確定的なことがいえないからこそ、もっと配慮があってよかった。
やるなら、イスラエルのデモのように、２メートルくらいちゃんと距離を保つべきであった。
日本ではアメリカのように黒人の命が警官によって頻繁に脅かされているようなことはない。

もっとも、ハーフの子どもたちへのいじめや外国人顔の人たちへ差別は存在する。
BLMなんて、アメリカの真似しないで、日本の問題として、外国人顔差別について社会に訴えていくべき。
２メートル距離とってデモするのもよし、ネットで訴えるのもよし。

敵基地攻撃能力は必要。

侵略して一般市民を虐殺するというわけではない。

日本に脅しをかけて、攻撃してきそうなやつボコッと潰すだけで、自衛のために必要。

平和独立のために武器は国家として絶対必用なものなのである。

「キモイ」「ドブス」は相手を傷つける言葉だが、「妊娠しています」は不快な発言ではない。



差別があってもなくても、「キモイ」「ドブス」など他人に向かって言うべき言葉ではない。



言語能力というか、社会常識というか・・・



他人にとやかく言われるのは腹が立つのはわかる。しかし、その逆上した姿をみて、「小田嶋、キモっ！」とか言われたらもっと逆上するんじゃないの？

諭し方や諭す時期はいろいろあるだろうが、本人に直接というより、大人になる人達全般が知っておけば、しかし、世の中もっと平和になる。。

例えば、「妊娠しています」というのは生意気な発言でも他人を不快にする発言でもなんでもない。

「ドブス」「キモイ」は他人を不快にさせたり、傷つけることが多い言葉でしょ。

仮に、妊婦が「キモイ」と言ったら・・・・やはり、蹴ったほうが圧倒的に悪いが、その発言は余分だった、と評価されてもいたしかたない。


例えば、黒人が絡んできてnigger 朝鮮人が絡んできて「チョン公」と言ったら、やっぱ状況を悪化させる発言と評価されざる得ないだろう。

殴ったやつか圧倒的に悪いからといって、やられたほうの発言がすべて免責される、というわけでもないのである。

職場でも食肉工場でも、どういう状況があったから集団感染が発生した、という発表がなければ、こっちとしても注意のしようがないし、対策がなければ、再発必然だろう？

明らかにアメリカの感染数は増加
ちなみに、

黒人がテレワークできなような職業につくことが多く、構造的差別に起因するだろう、と。

で、問題の記事に戻ると、

Social distancing しないでテニス大会やったら選手も配偶者も感染しちゃった、と。

Social distancingできていないので、水道と電気消されても、ジムに通っているひとたちーーーこんな感じじゃ・・・・何が増加の原因かよくわからないよねえ。
