ニーチェってもともと敬虔なキリスト教信者だったわけで、後にニヒリズム云々で、離反したようにいわれるけど、

What is faith? Everybody talks about it, but few take the time to define what it is. The Bible offers a definition from the letter to the Hebrews. Faith is not merely holding to certain teachings, such as that God exists, but rather it is a strong conviction that the world around us is part of a greater plan, God’s plan. 「運命愛」という形で神の創造、神の被造物、神の展開する歴史、神に与えられた運命についてあまなく受け入れて愛するという形で信仰を持ちつつけたんじゃないかな、 とふと思ったな。

ああ、でもキリスト教徒のなかには悲惨から目を背けて、他の世界を夢見る人たちがいるからそれを嫌ったのかな？・・・・微妙だな。
