その通り。改革を重視する外国人にとって岸田氏は不十分に見えるが、改革より人柄を重視する日本人には岸田氏が相応しい。現状維持で進歩する海外との差がさらに開くが、岸田氏は安心安全。おめでとう。

　His win is a blow to the younger rank-and-file party members, who had hoped that the leadership contest would herald a generational change. Kishida is expected to bring policy continuity and predictability — meaning a close alliance with the US, a steady increase in defence spending to counter China, and aggressive monetary and fiscal stimulus in the near term.

“Mr Kishida is Mr status quo,” said Takao Toshikawa, editor of the political newsletter Tokyo Insideline. “That means he carries very few political risks since he won’t move sharply away from policies taken by Abe and Suga in the last nine years.”

　外国人投資家は河野に期待したようだが、仮になったとしても、それは期待外れに終わるだけだっただろう。米大卒業して英語ができるせいか、なぜか、期待されているようだが・・・指導者の器ではない。

「ミスター現状維持」・・・・しかし、コロナでも経済でも軍事でも、現状はどんどんかわっているわけで、それに対応できるか、どうかが問題。

　調整ばかりに時間を取られ断行できないと政権は長続きはしまいーー日本の有権者はそれほど甘くない。
