メルケル首相は「多くの人がワクチンを接種しているため、人口１[0]万人当たりの感染者数が５０人に達しても、包括的な感染拡大抑制策はもはや必要ないとの結論に達した」とし、 医療システムが逼迫しているか判断するにあたり、連邦政府と各州政府は入院患者数の動向をモニターすると述べた。

ワクチン接種率は日本のほうがかなり低い。（ー河野大臣かっこいい！）

しかし、いずれにせよ、ロックダウンのような大規模な制限にでるのは、病院の逼迫度によるわけで、それは主に入院数、病床空き数などで測るしかなかろう。
