Death Doula

Doula
A doula (/ˈduːlə/) is a trained companion who is not a healthcare professional and who supports another person (the doula's client) through a significant health-related experience, such as childbirth, miscarriage, induced abortion or stillbirth, or non-reproductive experiences such as dying.

The man died the next day, which is expected in Lightner’s new line of work. She’s a death doula, an end-of-life coach who helps the terminally ill be at peace with dying—and she’s among hundreds of Americans who’ve embraced the rising occupation during the pandemic.

平穏な気持ちで死を迎える・・・一番楽しかったとき、あるいは楽しくなるようなことを思い浮かべながら死ぬ・・・その手伝いをするみたいな感じかなあ。
