The books were published in 2000. FRONTLINE cannot verify how many Saudi schools have used these textbooks, or how these passages were taught or interpreted by teachers in Saudi Arabia. However, these textbooks are part of the official curriculum for Saudi students and are a fundamental part of their education. Approximately 35% of school studies is devoted to compulsory Saudi religious education. The fact is that these Hadiths have nothing to do with God or Prophet Muhammad for that matter! These were created from hearsay by dubious scholars for dubious reasons, some 250 years later.

The accuracy of any Hadith is not absolute, but the correct interpretation of this should be that when one believer (Muslim) so hates another believer (a jew) the end is near. We, Muslims and Jews, are supposed to be the bedrock of humanity. We share a common history and a common future, and if we are so lost...so blinded by our hatred, then our loss of faith ( end of times) is complete.
