The evidence suggests that Omicron is less threatening to a vaccinated person than a normal flu.

In 2019-20, about 1 out of every 138 Americans 65 and older who had flu symptoms died from them. The Omicron risks seem to be lower (which, obviously, is *not* the same as zero).
