UK to offer booster shots to all adults, just three months after their second dose

London (CNN)All adults in the United Kingdom will be able to get their booster Covid-19 vaccine doses three months after their second shot, the government indicated on Monday, in a dramatic acceleration of the country's inoculation drive that comes amid fears over the Omicron variant.

"Vaccine boosting is the thing we can do most easily while we wait for that science mist to clear."
He said: "With any vaccine during a pandemic, we get the greatest benefit for individuals and society if the vaccine is deployed before the wave starts. We want to provide boosters early enough.... before any possible wave".
