A teacher who called a transgender pupil a girl says he was dismissed by a second school after he said Muhammad was a "false prophet" in a video.

最終的には、クビになったみたいだね。ムハンマドは 偽預言者だ、とyoutubeでの発言が問題となったらしい。

それはいいとして、日本では、「お嬢さんたち」ということを学生に向かって言う機会がほぼないんじゃないかあ。「みなさん」とか「あなたたち」とか「きみたち」とか「おまいら」とかだろう？

　

　A Canadian father was arrested this week for violating a court order barring him from publicly discussing his child’s gender transition.

The man was found to be in contempt of court and arrested Tuesday for referring to the child, who is a biological female but now identifies as male, using the pronouns “she” and “her,” according to the New York Post.

　2番目のケースは未成年者に片親の許可があれば、性転換できる、とした法律がそもそも間違いなんだろうね。成年に達してから自分で決めさせればよい。

　それにしても繊細な問題であるにもかかわらず、公にしてしまった父親もまずい。

男だと自認している自分の子供を「彼女」と呼んだ、ということについては・・・・これ、日本語だとあまり起きないよね・・・・まったく起きない、というわけじゃないけど・・・

　子供を「娘」と呼ぶひとはおおいが「彼女」という人は少ない。

　小学校の同級生で2丁目で小さなバーやっているのがいる。たぶん、トランス男性なんだけど、そいつの話をするときもで、「○○はさあ、そういば昔からボーイッシュだったよなあ」とかの話はでるが、「彼」とも「彼女」とも言わない。

　欧米語のほうが性別化された言葉や用法が多いんだろうね。
