Observers suggested Japanese voters only care about a strong economy

ちょっと的外れ・・・というか・・・これもやっぱ日本特殊論っぽいところがなきにしもあらずだな。 

 もちろんIt's economy stupidの面はあるが、経済だけなら、大衆にとっては、野党の政策のほうがいいとも言えるわけで・・・
