Wave of anti-Asian violence surges in California

Asian-American seniors are being targeted and brutally attacked in the Bay Area. Since the coronavirus pandemic began, there has been a surge in anti-Asian racism across America, but especially in San Francisco. When Chinatown would have usually been bustling with people celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year, many business owners shut down and reduced their hours for fear of being attacked.
