  UBI in Korea to Help Fight Youth Unemployment in Korea

There are many test trials happening all across the world. More and more countries are considering UBI as an alternative to welfare. Gyeonggi-do has been operating a basic income system called Youth Basic Income. It is the 3rd largest basic income policy in the world and is being used to support young people in Gyeonggi-do that are having a hard time finding employment.

 　韓国、京畿道で若者を対象としたベーシックインカムが実行されており、地元の商業も恩恵を被るのではないか、と。今後、産業のロボット化で失業率が高まると予想されるなか、国レベルでのベーシックインカムをロボット税を徴収することで賄おうという政治家もでてきた、国民の半数はベーシックインカムに賛成している、と。
