数日前に岡部芳彦教授（ウクライナ研究者）の生配信を観て呟いたが、それがYouTubeに保存されていたので添付します。プーチンはNATOの東方拡大を防ぐためではなくロシアの一部であるウクライナ（彼はそう信じている）を取り戻すため侵攻している。中国にとっての台湾と同じ。 https://t.co/cKdIsFJo88

動画はみていないんだけど、 プーチンはウクライナ侵攻前の演説でそんなようなことを言っていたね。ただし、

 １）ロシアはNATO東方拡大を嫌悪していた。

 ２）ウクライナはロシアの一部

この二つの主張は別に矛盾しない。

NATOの脅威ではなく、むしり民主主義国に囲まれて独裁政治ができなくなることに脅威を感じたのだ、という主張もある。

ただ、

３）民主主義国に囲まれることに脅威を感じた。

１）２）３）全部真実であっても問題ない。どれが一番強い理由かは問題になりうるが、１）２）３）は別に矛盾しない。
