‘A necessary war’: reporting on the Ukraine ‘disagreement’ outside the west Venezuela says Putin is a victim, China blames the US, and a South African pundit calls out western hypocrisy Russia-Ukraine war: latest updates Nicolás Maduro and Vladimir Putin Tom Phillips in Rio de Janeiro, Rhoda Kwan in Taipei, Emmanuel Akinwotu in Lagos, Justin McCurry in Tokyo, and Martin Chulov in Beirut Fri 11 Mar 2022 00.30 GMT
