In reality, however, a very small percentage of the reports of rape lead to a conviction; during recent years, approximately 5 out of every 100 reported rapes led to a conviction.
One out of three prosecutions does not lead to a conviction. Of the 208 verdicts regarding completed rapes of adult women which were handed down in 2017, two-thirds were convictions and one-third were acquittals. This breakdown has been constant over the past ten years.
５％というのはレイプを通報して、有罪になるのが５％で起訴されて有罪になるのは２/3のようだね。
ちなみに日本の場合
日本の刑事司法では圧倒的に有罪率が高いという事実。これは性犯罪被害でも同じです。最新の司法統計（2017年）から、1審の有罪率を計算してみると、刑事事件全体で99.8％。性的な犯罪（統計の項目は「わいせつ、強制性交等及び重婚の罪」）でも、有罪率は99.5％で、同年の無罪判決は7件にとどまります。裁判で被告人が無罪を主張すればバンバン無罪判決が出る、という状況ではありません。
17年の検察統計では、強制わいせつの起訴率は37.8％、強制性交等では32.7％でした。
これは日本のほうがまだ”まし”といったほうがいいかな。

Eurostat figures show that Sweden had 64 reported rapes per 100,000 residents in 2016, compared to 10 in Germany. When Sweden's figures were recalculated using the German definitions, the new figure was 15 reported rapes per 100,000 residents.That's still 50 percent more than in Germany, but it would place Sweden around the middle in terms of reported rape in Europe if the same standards were used as in Germany (although without recalculating other countries' statistics using the German definitions).

Rape conviction rates rise 75% in Sweden after change in the law
Rape conviction rates in Sweden have risen 75% in two years following a major change in the law, spurring calls on Monday for other countries to revamp their legislation.
Sweden changed the legal definition of rape in 2018 to sex without consent. Unlike in many countries, prosecutors do not have to prove the use or threat of violence or coercion.
The National Council on Crime Prevention (Bra) said the rise in convictions - up from 190 in 2017 to 333 in 2019 - showed the change had had a greater impact than expected.

説教するほどスエーデンは偉くもないが、日本も改善の余地は大いにあるといったところか。
