元々は自分たちの地域と思っていた所にイスラエルが誕生し、イスラエル領土が拡大していけば対立するのは当然でパレスチナの怒りも当然なのだ。しかしパレスチナを国家として承認している国は下記図のみでG7は承認していない。しかも自治区レベルなので軍隊も無い。抵抗するにはテロしかない。が、そんな感じなのでパレスチナには変な国や組織が寄って来る。北朝鮮や世界中の過激派もよってきた。日本の左翼もパレスチナ贔屓だったりする。だからパレスチナを擁護しづらい状況になっていた。中東の各国もパレスチナの怒りを分かっていてパレスチナには同情しているのが現状。ましてイスラエルによる東エルサレムへの入植は、国際法違反として何度か国連安全保障理事会で非難決議が行われるが、米国の拒否権で多くが廃案になっている状況を見ればイスラエル擁護なんてしたくもない。私は基本的には「どっちもどっちだが、むしろパレスチナの方に同情する」という思いが根底にはある。しかし、このような世界情勢では日本としては『勝ち馬』に乗るのがベター。だから、私もイスラエル擁護派にならざるをえないのだろうが、「パレスチナのやってる事はテロだ！テロだ！許せない！」と騒ぐ気には到底なれない。
ハマス側に戦略的な意図を何も感じない。単なる憂さ晴らし以上の何かはあるのか。

イスラエル人に対する蛮行が報道され、イスラエルは大規模な攻撃を実行、パレスチナ人に大規模な犠牲がでるだろう。しかも西側から支援はなくなる。
