The Forensic Architecture agency, a UK-based organisation which investigates human rights abuses, has carried out its own analysis of the crater, and suggests it is more consistent with the impact marks from an artillery shell which it concludes came from the direction of Israel.

It says that the scarring patterns above the crater are consistent with the shrapnel damage that would be expected from an artillery strike.

We asked a number of other experts.

"The projectile does not have the flight path of Iron Dome. Additionally, Iron Dome almost never deploys just one interceptor," Mr Gannon says.

However, Mr Garlasco said he believed the footage was consistent with an Iron Dome interception.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told the BBC that Iron Dome interceptions only happen over Israeli territory.

 He told arresting officers: “I can get angry very quick” and denied he was gay, claiming homosexuality was “a sin, you wont find many Muslims gay and religious”.

Mr Palani denied being in Anthony Burke’s house despite his semen from a previous consensual sexual encounter being found on a blanket there as well as evidence from seized phones that linked him to the victims.

 

He added: “I want to tell you at this time I was mentally ill, I heard voices, they told me to do it.

"My mum told me to visit the doctor,” he told Gardaí , adding there was “no specific reason” he killed the two men.

He said “Because of my religion I don’t hate gay people, it's because of the voices."

　これ読むと本人はゲイなんだけど、イスラム教徒ではゲイは否定的に扱われることが多いから、本人ちょっと頭おかしくなっちゃって声を聞くようになってしまった、みたいな感じかな。

　American Beauty では主人公がゲイコンプレックスをもった白人ゲイおじさんに殺されたが、あれと似たような感じかな？

　白人がやっていたら、「声を聞いた」頭がおかしくなった人がやったでおわりじゃないの？

　キリスト教でもイスラム教でもゲイを抑圧するととんだところで負の結末（blowback)がある。やはり、許容的でありたいものだね。

　国民の賃金あげるために、移民の数を制限したい、というのならいいのだけど、奴隷のように安賃金で働かせておいて、その上、人種差別や民族差別して追い出そう、というのは・・・欧米ではそんな感じもあるけど・・・・よくない。


「ユージュアルサスペクト」・・・この題名の映画もおもしろかったけど、この言葉を知ったのは「カサブランカ」からかな。
