男社会を変えるのにバービーは正々堂々と決着をつけるのではなく、「女らしさ」の手練手管を使わざるえなかった・・・昔ながらの男の操縦法を使わざる得ないところに、フェミの理想は現実的には難しいんだというメッセージになってしまった。映画はフェミの勝利というより、マテル社が儲かること、つまり父権主義でもっとも難攻不落の資本主義の勝利になってしまっているんではないか、と
