否定的な評価もあるものの高い評価もあり、米国の保守系出版社からすでに出版されているものについて、製品未満とはいえないんじゃないか？ある本について「嘘だらけだから出すな」vs「読んでから批判せよ」の議論は書籍によるとしかいえないんだけど、一流出版社が出した製品未満を最近読んだばかりなので、あらゆる本を出版して万機公論に決すべしという理論についてはだいぶ疑いの目で見ている。なんせデマを打ち消す労力が大きすぎる。

同じような理由付けで右派からの抗議で上映取りやめや出版取りやめになったしたら・・・・それでもいいのか？・・・そんなふうになったら自由と市民の知性を尊重しない窮屈な世の中だと思うよ。
明らかなデマなら打ち消すのはそんなに難しいことではなかろう。ウィキの記事読んだだけでも本の内容に疑わしい部分があるのはーー本を読まなくてもーーわかる。
