I am aware of the expression "OWN IT". For instance. if you buy a new flashy, ridiculous t-shirt (as I often did when younger, much to the chastising of my friends and family), people may laugh at you less if you act as though you have absolutely no apologies, and aren't one iota ashamed of your t-shirt. In fact, you act as though you LOVE your new t-shirt.

 

You don't just have the choice to own things though, you can also own yourself. This means you accept yourself fully, both your strengths and weaknesses, and live life without regrets or apology.

望みどおりに死ねるとは全然限らないわけだけど・・・死ぬときは誰も静かになれるんだろうね。
